Just when I needed a little good news, I learned I've been awarded the Kick Ass Blogger Award!

Here's a pic I artsied up with Photoshop: a boot, but with red flowers in it to reflect both the need for us to kick a lil' ass every now and then, but preferably with good will and kindness in our passionate hearts. Sorta like parenting...
I'm not new to writing but other than a one-article post on a different blog back in 2005 that I reprinted here, Keep It Trill has been my baby since May 3, 2008. I try to pass along different points of view - my own and those of the many people I've come in contact with or read about, so that someone, somewhere, may benefit.

Congratulations Kit, the award is richly deserved. At first I thought your posts were too long, but now, since they're so good, I'm glad they're as long as they are. The variety of topics also keeps me coming back, as does the depths to which you dig into them. Sometimes you scare me too, but in ways I always appreciate. Also, your posts always come back to me after I read them, which rarely happens with stuff I read on blogs.
